DIRECTING . PRODUCTION . CAMERA . EDITING . COLOR CORRECTION . SCREENPLAY . STORYBOARD
I truly enjoy creating music videos, mainly because I love imagining stories while I hear a song. When I make a MV I usually imagine the whole video in my mind and as soon as I have a clear idea of what I want, I create the storyboard and starting shooting. That's how "Never Coming Back" and "Without Knowing it All" were created. I developed both MVs on my own with the help of an assistant in the role of Gaffer. In "First Light", it was my job to edit the video. Unfortunately, once I received the files to work on, I understood there were only a few different shots and most of them had image noise. Considering this, creatively I didn’t have much of a choice when it came to selecting the perfect shot. In "Performance Body" the idea was to reveal the performance of the artist while showing her creative process with a song playing in the background. I also developed two experimental videos back when I did an internship at the museum: "Casa da Imagem". In one of the videos I had to capture the old museum, which was to be demolished and renewed, so there was a need to record the old house and famous photographer Teófilo Braga’s equipment. In the second video I mentioned, I had to register the photography exhibition that was being displayed at the time
